Hi and Thanks for coming to my website.

I am from Chicago, IL, where I learned fiddle from Paul Tyler of the Old Town School of Folk Music (in addition to other generous teachers, such as Steve Rosen and Jordan Wankoff). I probably held the record for the most frequenty enrolled student in the Old-Time Ensemble class, which began around 1990 or 91.

My love for music and fiddle began as a child. Finally in 1990, my father rented a fiddle for me and I started taking classes at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago. I started learning with Paul and met many wonderful people at the Old Town School. The music has made my life rich and I had so many great experiences because of it, including playing in the band, Chicago Mountain Stringband and joining the famous Sunday morning jam organized by Chloris Noelke.
